Tumaini Tutor has no dress code, but public schools in Tanzania do. Families of orphans attending Health & Hope Tumaini Tutor are having to choose between buying food or buying a school uniform so their children can go to public school.
The Uniform Library provides
- Opportunity for children to attend public primary and secondary school borrowing as they grow.
- Access to a uniform set (2 tops, 2 skirts or trousers (elastic waists, and adjustable hems), sweater, and shoes.
- Helps children learn by feeling confident and great inside!
Local sourcing and sewing will strengthen the community economy too.
